The translingual approach has become an increasingly popular pedagogy in writing education to respond linguistic diversity the past decade. It emphasizes nonstandard language varieties and encourages learners employ all repertoire. Writing scholars educators proposed various research from different viewpoints investigate how can affect practice. However, so far, limited attention been given potential influence of China’s classrooms. Exploring young fast-growing landscape is necessary, adapting Chinese context.
